Shaylee Mikayla is 4 years old and lives in North Augusta, SC. She has had no surgeries to date but she does do PT and OT both once a week. Mom: Shannon age: 27

Sister: Gabellique Marie (Gabi) age: 2 1/2
Mom says: Shaylee has a right BPI, she was born with a flail arm, had only wrist movement. Within the first three months she began to have more movement throughout her arm and shoulder. She has had no surgeries to date. Shaylee goes to therapy once a twice a week, once for P/T and once for O/T. She has recently started the TENS unit, no results as of yet, but we are hopeful. Shaylee is very independent, she recently finished Preschool and will be starting Pre-K in the fall. Shaylee is also in gymnastics once a week and does a great job keeping up and doing the exact same things as all the other children.
